Every study at our site is led by a board-certified physician investigator responsible for its conduct and for the safety of the people who take part.
Nephrology · Internal Medicine
Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, Dr. Isaiah completed his medical education, residency, and nephrology fellowship at Temple University. He brings years of experience caring for people with kidney disease, including dialysis care and hypertension.
Interventional Radiology
Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree and a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Miami after undergraduate studies at Harvard, and completed his residency and fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Virginia. He is board certified in interventional and diagnostic radiology, with a focus on minimally invasive vascular care and limb salvage.
Psychiatry
Dr. Paredes has practiced adult and geriatric psychiatry for more than 25 years at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He trained in psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh and completed a geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the University of Miami, with clinical focus on depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and memory disorders.
Nephrology
Dr. Adan brings more than four decades of experience in nephrology and internal medicine, including a nephrology fellowship at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. She cares for patients with kidney disease, hypertension, and dialysis needs, and is affiliated with Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
Podiatry
A podiatry specialist with board certification, Ms. Warren focuses on diabetic foot care and wound care — experience that directly informs our diabetic foot ulcer research and the daily care of study participants.
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Santos completed residency training across Frank Pais Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and the University of Puerto Rico. He maintains hospital privileges at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, with a focus on comprehensive women's health and minimally invasive surgery.
Internal Medicine · Family Practice
Board certified in internal medicine and family practice, Dr. Canino draws on broad primary care experience to evaluate study participants and serve as an investigator across our trials.
